Gateway Kids Ministries

Gateway prioritizes the discipleship of children. We are committed to seeing families love God passionately and to collaborate with the parents to minister to their children in everyday life.

We have a great team of Children’s church ministers who streamline their teaching in creative ways.

The lessons taught and bible verses memorized, coincide with what the youth and the adults are being taught as well. This is implemented intentionally to create open avenues of communication with parents and children at home, as they share the truths learned as a family. Our goal is to results of healthy family devotions at home. “It all starts at home”. We desire to build strong foundations together with the parents.

We offer the following opportunities for ministry to the awesome Gateway Kids:

Children’s Choir pictures) “The Flames of Praise” Our Gateway kids choir ministers through special events ( Hallelujah night, youth explosions, presentations for special services, and in community events.

One session of children’s church each month is set apart for learning the word through the arts, song, mime, skits. This is instrumental in preparing each child to be a minister. We see their potential released as they minister in song, mime, dance in the many outreaches we do as a church. The children’s ministry is growing and we are so grateful to have the privilege of raising up these ministers of the Lord. I’m proud to say one of our young children taught herself guitar and wrote a song which she ministered to all the Father’s Day. We were deeply touched by the anointing on her life.

Our children’ dance ministry meets each Saturday with enthusiasm and abundant energy. We are blessed to see them growing as ministers of the Lord. We are grateful for the dance leaders that sacrifice their time and energy because of their passion for kids in dance as a ministry. The children have had the honor to minister at community events such as National Night Out, City of North Miami F.A.C.T. festival, back to school events, and R.O. C. Jams.

We are advancing our Children’s ministry – Empowered Kingdom Kids. With quarterly gatherings to empower our children with the word of God. We believe they need to be equipped to lead well in their circles of influence. Our goal is to raise up mighty Kingdom disciples full of grace and truth that are bold in their walk. We declare they will be reaching out to the lost with the love and truth of Jesus Christ.

A training ministry will be starting in September to train leaders in Florida and internationally to equip the next generation. Date and location TBA.
